Rebel, makers of an API that enables interactive experiences for the user in an email inbox, has announced it has signed an agreement to be acquired by Salesforce. The statement notes Rebel technology, will be absorbed by Salesforce Marketing Cloud, but Salesforce has yet to release a statement on the proposed acquisition.
From the release: With Rebel’s Mail and API solutions, brands, including Dollar Shave Club, L’Oreal and HelloFresh, turn emails into an extension of their website or app – collecting data, removing friction from the conversion process, and enhancing the customer experience. Rebel will enhance the power of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and fundamentally change the way people interact with email.

Optimove has boosted its relationship marketing platform through the acquisition of PowerInbox’s DynamicMail product. Capabilities of DynamicMail, including personalization and interaction available in other channels, can now be part of the Optimove user’s inbox. Eight DynamicMail employees will join Optimove as part of the acquisition.

Zip Your Flyer, built for real estate marketing, has launched eFlyer App, an email and collaboration tool that allows realtors to quickly share marketing materials. Through the Zip Your Flyer app, agents are able to simply and easily communicate with each other, receive notifications for local listing publishings in real-time on the feed and view virtual tours or property websites.
